Robo-Scape-Dwarf

I know. I know. This is way too geeky to post on something as cool and trendy as the internet, but I have compiled a table of all the connections among my three favorite, most formative sci-fi shows: Robotech, Farscape and Red Dwarf.

ROBO

Scape

DWARF

Supreme self-sacrifice by a leading male character:

Roy Fokker; dies from injuries sustained in combat.

John Crichton: closes wormhole to Earth, trades self for Jothee, makes a deal to trade wormhole secrets for Aeryn, gets radiation poisoning to stop Furlow’s experiment… etc… etc.

Ace Rimmer; dies, forcing Arnold to straighten up and replace him, with mixed results.

lost in deep space…

somewhere beyond Pluto

on the other side of the Milky Way galaxy.

3 million years out into deep space.

..onboard a gigantic spaceship?

The laws of time and space, the extinction of the human race, Rimmer’s dead and they’re out of shake ‘n vac.

But they’ve got a trick up their sleeve:

Protoculture, Robotechnology, kissing in front of other people.

Wormholes
