I like to pointlessly deride bad ideas as much as the next person, but with the clichéd memes of distain being cycled through the internet, eventually “Sit on it, nerd” is going to look like Tolstoy by comparison. I’m talking about that biting critique, that laconic counter-argument: FAIL. Maybe it’s more a sign of an incapacity to express exactly just what made the commenter so certain that thing was a fail (not a failure, mind you). Perhaps it’s an acronym for “Forgot Argument, Illiterate LOL”.
There are myriad ways to point out exactly how something sucks, but for me, I’m going to pass on FAIL.
